Terms of Service
Last updated 11 August 2026 · Effective 11 August 2026
These are the terms you agree to when you buy coaching, training or a membership from Calibrated by Carleigh™. They are written plainly on purpose — you should be able to tell what you are committing to, what it costs, and how to stop, without needing anyone to interpret it for you.
This agreement
This agreement is between you and Calibrated by Carleigh™, a coaching practice based in Leesburg, Virginia (“we,” “us,” “Carleigh”). It applies when you use this website, take the Calibrated Assessment™, or buy anything from us.
You must be at least 18 years old to buy from this site or create an account. By placing an order you confirm that you are, and that the information you have given us is accurate.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.
Health, safety and medical clearance
Carleigh is a fitness and nutrition coach, not a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian, or licensed mental health professional. Nothing on this site, in the Calibrated Assessment™, in your Calibrated Roadmap™, or in any coaching conversation is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and none of it should be used to delay or replace care from a qualified professional.
Get cleared before you start. You should speak with your physician or a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise or nutrition program, particularly if you are pregnant or postpartum, are managing an injury, illness, chronic condition or eating disorder, take prescription medication, or have been inactive for a long period. By starting a program you confirm you have either done this or made an informed decision not to.
Tell us the truth, and keep telling us. You agree to disclose injuries, medical conditions, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions and relevant life-stage circumstances honestly, and to tell Carleigh promptly if any of them change. Programming is built on what you tell us; incomplete information makes it less safe.
Stop if something is wrong. If you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, shortness of breath or any symptom that concerns you, stop immediately and seek medical attention. Never continue an exercise because it is written in your program. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.
Nutrition guidance is general coaching support for healthy adults. It is not a prescribed diet, not medical nutrition therapy, and not appropriate for managing a diagnosed medical condition or eating disorder. Supplements are discussed as information only; we do not sell them and we do not prescribe them.
What coaching can and cannot promise
We will bring skill, attention and honesty to your training. What we cannot do is guarantee an outcome. Results depend on your consistency, your effort, your sleep, your stress, your nutrition, your history and your genetics — most of which sit with you rather than with us.
No specific result is promised or guaranteed — not a weight, not a body composition, not a lift, not a race time, not a timeline. Anything you read on this site describing what someone else achieved is their experience, not a prediction of yours.
The Calibrated Assessment™ and its scores are a structured coaching tool for deciding where to start. They are not a medical or diagnostic instrument and are not validated as one.
What we sell
- The Calibrated Assessment™ — free, with a personalized Calibrated Roadmap™ emailed to you.
- Calibrated Reset™ — a six-week program, purchased once, in Founding, Standard or VIP tiers. Available paid in full or as three monthly payments.
- Personal training — in-person sessions in the Leesburg area, bought singly or in packs of 5, 10 or 20, or as an unlimited monthly membership.
- Calibrated Collective™ — an ongoing monthly or annual membership.
- Calibrated Performance™ — monthly personalized coaching.
- Calibrated Elite™ — private one-to-one coaching, monthly, offered by application.
Exactly what is included in each is described on its page at the time you buy. We may improve the contents of a program over time; we will not materially reduce what you have already paid for.
Memberships and automatic renewal
Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. Monthly memberships renew every month, and annual memberships renew every year, charging the same card at the same price, until you cancel them. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
Before you pay, the checkout page states the amount, how often it recurs, and when the first charge happens. Your renewal date is always visible in your account.
How to cancel. Sign in at your account, choose Manage billing, and cancel there. It takes about three clicks and needs no conversation with anyone. You can also email carleigh@calibratedbycarleigh.com and we will cancel it for you.
What happens when you cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account will show the date that access ends. We do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a period you have already been charged for — see Refunds for the one exception, which is discretionary rather than a right.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it over the following days and email you. If it keeps failing your membership will end. Update your card in the billing portal to restart it.
Price changes. If we change the price of a membership you already hold, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies. You are free to cancel before then, and your existing price stands until it does.
Payment plans
Calibrated Reset™ can be bought as three monthly payments instead of one. The plan total is higher than paying in full — the exact figures are shown on the page before you buy.
A payment plan is a fixed commitment to all three payments, not a subscription you can stop part-way. It is set up as a monthly charge and ends by itself once the third payment clears; you will not be charged a fourth time, and there is nothing you need to do to stop it.
If a payment fails we will contact you to arrange it. Access to the program may be paused until the plan is up to date. Choosing a payment plan does not change what you receive.
Training sessions and packs
- Packs never expire. Sessions you have bought remain yours until you use them. There is no deadline and no forfeiture for being away.
- Your balance is visible to you. Sessions bought and delivered are recorded in your account, each with a date. Carleigh records a session after it has been delivered.
- Sessions are personal to you and cannot be shared, transferred or resold without our written agreement.
- Unlimited training is a monthly membership rather than a bank of sessions, and is subject to the same automatic renewal terms as any other membership. It means as often as the calendar genuinely allows — it is not transferable, and it is not a guarantee of any specific number of sessions or any specific time slot.
- If you think a count is wrong, tell us. Every change to your balance is recorded with a date, a reason and who made it, so it can be checked and corrected.
Scheduling, lateness and missed sessions
- Rescheduling — give at least 24 hours' notice and the session is moved with no charge and no session deducted.
- Late cancellation or not showing up — with less than 24 hours' notice, the session counts as delivered and is deducted from your balance. That time was held for you and cannot be filled at short notice.
- Genuine emergencies, illness and injury — tell us and we will use judgement. Nobody is penalised for a real emergency, and we would rather you did not train sick.
- Arriving late — we will train you for the time remaining in your slot rather than running into the next client's session.
- If Carleigh has to cancel — the session is rescheduled at your convenience and nothing is deducted.
Booking a time through your account reserves the slot; it does not deduct a session. The deduction happens after the session has taken place, or under the late-cancellation rule above.
Refunds
We would rather solve a problem than keep money from someone who is unhappy. Email carleigh@calibratedbycarleigh.com and tell us what has gone wrong before doing anything else.
- Unused training sessions are refundable. If you have sessions left and want to stop, we will refund them. Sessions already delivered are charged at the single-session rate in effect when you bought the pack, and the remainder is refunded. That means a pack discount applies to a pack you complete, not a pack you leave part-way.
- Calibrated Reset™ — 7 days. If you start the program and it is not right for you, tell us within 7 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. After 7 days the program is non-refundable — it runs for six weeks, and by the end of the first week the assessment, the roadmap and the opening block have all been delivered. On a payment plan, the same 7 days apply from the first payment.
- Memberships are charged for a period at a time and are not pro-rated or refunded part-way through a period. Cancel any time to stop the next charge — see above — and you keep access until that period ends. If you have only just been charged and something has genuinely gone wrong, get in touch: a refund shortly after a renewal is at Carleigh's discretion, decided case by case, and she would rather hear from you than have you feel stuck. Please do not treat it as a guarantee.
- Anything charged in error — a duplicate, a wrong amount, a charge after cancellation — is refunded in full, always. Just tell us.
Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days once issued, depending on your bank.
If you believe you have a statutory right to a refund beyond what is written here, those rights are not affected by anything on this page.
Payment, pricing and taxes
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number — see our Privacy Policy. By buying, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method.
All prices are in US dollars. The price you are charged is the price shown at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases at any time; a change never applies retroactively to something you have already bought, and membership price changes follow the 30 days' notice above.
Any sales tax that applies is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Your bank may charge foreign transaction or currency conversion fees, which are outside our control.
If something looks wrong on your statement, contact us first. We can usually resolve it the same day. Disputing a charge with your bank before speaking to us may suspend your access while the dispute is open, which helps nobody.
Your account
There is no password. Signing in works by a one-time link sent to your email address, or through Google. That means anyone with access to your email can access your account, so keep your email secure and let us know if it is ever compromised.
Your account is for you. Do not share sign-in links, and do not let someone else use your membership or your sessions. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Community and conduct
Programs that include community access are meant to be places women can be honest about hard things. To keep them that way:
- Treat other members with respect. Harassment, abuse and cruelty end a membership.
- What other members share stays inside the community. Do not screenshot or repost it.
- Do not use the community to sell, recruit or advertise, and do not give other members medical advice.
- Do not share program materials, workouts or paid content with people who have not paid for them.
We may remove anyone who breaks these rules. If we remove you for conduct, we will refund the unused portion of what you have paid.
Our materials
The Calibrated Assessment™, the Calibrated Method™, the Calibrated Roadmap™, the scoring system behind them, the programs, workouts, written materials, and the content of this site belong to Calibrated by Carleigh™. Calibrated by Carleigh™, Calibrated Reset™, Calibrated Collective™, Calibrated Performance™, Calibrated Elite™, Calibrated Assessment™, Calibrated Roadmap™, The Calibrated Method™, Where Progress Gets Personalized. and Every Piece Has Purpose.™ are our marks.
When you buy a program you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use its materials for your own training, for as long as you have access. You may not copy, resell, publish, or share them, use them to coach other people, or use them to build a competing program or to train an artificial intelligence system.
Anything you write in an assessment or send us stays yours. You give us permission to use it to coach you and run the service. If we ever want to quote you publicly, we will ask first and you are free to say no.
Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time: cancel your membership, or simply stop booking. Unused sessions remain yours under the terms above.
We may end or decline coaching if you break these terms, if you are abusive to Carleigh or another member, if payment fails repeatedly, or if we honestly believe training you is unsafe or that your needs are better served by a medical professional. Except where you have been removed for conduct that harmed someone, we refund the unused portion of anything you have paid.
Assumption of risk and liability
Exercise carries inherent risk. That includes muscle soreness and strains, sprains, fractures, aggravation of existing conditions, heart attack, stroke, and in rare cases death. Those risks exist even when a session is well designed and properly supervised.
By training with us you acknowledge those risks and accept them voluntarily. You agree to train within your capability, to use equipment as instructed, to follow the safety guidance you are given, and to stop when something hurts.
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, Calibrated by Carleigh™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or income, arising out of your use of this site or participation in a program. Our total liability for any claim relating to a program is limited to the amount you paid us for that program in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or for anything else Virginia law does not permit to be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case they simply do not apply to you.
The site and its content are provided as they are. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we do take it seriously when it is not.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Talk to us first. If you have a problem, email carleigh@calibratedbycarleigh.com and give us 30 days to put it right. Most things are resolved in a single conversation, and we would much rather have that conversation than a legal process.
If something cannot be resolved that way, it will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and we each agree to those courts having jurisdiction. Nothing stops either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and if a change materially affects something you have already bought — pricing, renewals, refunds, or the scope of what you receive — we will email you before it takes effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not, you may cancel, and the refund terms above apply.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
